The Celebration: Indoor roller skating events are a celebration of the passionate rhythm roller skating community. What makes skate parties different from roller skating sessions are such things as guest DJ’s, new product releases, contests, prizes, raffles, skate vendor presence, food, and special time slots. Some or all of these reasons are great motivators for people to travel near and far. This celebration is a festival of events spanning the course of several days.

The Skaters: The rhythm roller skating community is close-knit and loves to get together and be celebrated through roller skating parties. This community is nationwide and will travel across the country for superior roller skating events.

The Event: SK8 Fanatics 2nd Annual “Cali-Slide” Skate Party 2012 will feature Adrenaline Award-nominated DJ’s from around the country, several skate clothing vendors, skate contests, food, and great prizes. There are several activities that will take place in conjunction to the main event including a meet-and-greet, dance, skate gear fashion show, and Sunday brunch. The event is a great opportunity for skaters to celebrate with their friends and family, experience a different music atmosphere and venue, meet new people, and show off their skills and custom roller skates.

SK8 Fanatics Custom Roller Skates turns your shoes into roller skates. We offer an endless array of customization options, from customizing the size of your wheels to powder-coated hardware. We aim to increase our following by continuing to test the boundaries of rhythm roller skating with new and innovative products. SK8 Fanatics officially launched mid-year 2011 and has taken the roller skating industry by storm. We have already been featured on the news, designed skates for celebrities, and gained the respect and support of major skate manufacturers. At our Spring Break Skate Jam 2012, we drew over 400 guests to Northridge, CA from Los Angeles, Northern California, Las Vegas, and Arizona. The event was a huge success and the roller skating community agreed that it was THE event to attend. Ultimately, we extended the event an additional ½ hour (until 4:30AM) as more than 80% of our guests were still roller skating at 3:45AM! What we’ve discovered is an opening in the marketplace for superior roller skating events in which the community feels celebrated and special. We are fulfilling that opening by producing 2 major events this year and planning for collaborative events. Our largest event of the year is the 2nd Annual SK8 Fanatics “Cali-Slide” Skate Party held Veterans Weekend this November. This production will span the course of two days, Saturday and Sunday night, and includes a variety of ancillary events outside the skating rink beginning Friday evening.
