– 2. Identify main ideas and support with information relating to the purpose and context. – 3. Select a layout and format that is appropriate to purpose and context of writing task.– 4. Use appropriate language and grammar structures.

• Use grammatical structures to produce writing that is grammatically correct.• And, in particular, you will have learnt to

– 1. Explore grammar structures to show an awareness of the correct use of grammatical structures for writing especially:• present continuous tense• prepositions

•  Edit own writing to adapt the draft and produce writing that is grammatically correct, logical and coherent.• And, in particular, you will have learnt to

– 1. Check and edit written text against criteria in a checklist and adapt written draft accordingly, especially for:• layout and format• unnecessary information• grammar and punctuation• context appropriate diction

• Organise and present the writing task in a manner appropriate to the context• And, in particular, you will have learnt to

• 1. Decide on the purpose of the writing task so that writing relates to audience and context.• 2. Identify and use a suitable presentation technique, which includes formatting, layout and paragraphing.
