Eric Togneri, President and Managing Partner

Expertise: Consumer Products and Services Businesses

Eric is co-founder and President of the NERI Capital Partners. Previously, Eric held various positions of increased responsibility during his twenty-five years in the consumer products goods industry. His professional tenure includes managerial level positions in sales, category management, and trade marketing. Eric has been associated with several high profile brand acquisitions and divestitures in the health and beauty industry. His most recent mergers and acquisitions work has focused on licensing and marketing of four brands focused on international extensions into new categories.

Eric has a BS Degree from the University of Iowa, MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Certified Exit Planner from the Exit Planning Institute, University of Chicago. : Consumer Products and Services Businesses

Michael Togneri, Managing Partner

Michael is Co-founder and Managing Partner of the NERI Capital Partners. He has over 45 years of sales, marketing, and management experience with small, middle market and large corporations. Currently, Mike is Owner, and Chairman and former CEO of a southeast regional environmental services company. During his diverse career, he has held key management positions with private and public corporations including, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a national farm equipment manufacturer; a Divisional Vice President and General Manager for a Fortune 500 environmental company; President of a "contract" manufacturing company; and co-founder of a National Bio Solids Management Service Company. Mike has completed 85 transactions with a cumulative value of over $1.5 Billion.

Mike has a BA Degree from St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

Jay Pruehs, Principal

Mr. Pruehs serves is a Principal with Neri Capital Partners,. Prior to associating with Neri Capital Partners Mr. Pruehs was marketed commercial real estate with Common Ground Commercial, a division of Palmer House Properties & Associates. Before moving to Atlanta, Jay attended college in Cincinnati, Ohio. He quickly proved himself a leader in the corporate environment before starting his own sales and marketing firm. Under his leadership, the agency became a major supplier of industrial control products in the Southeast. These 25+ years of experience in sales and marketing, management, and business acumen brings a well rounded set of qualifications to meet the needs of his clientele.

Steve Godwin, Vice President

Mr. Goodwin responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, managing client’s transaction and debt and equity placement.

He has over 35 years of senior level management experience in domestic and international markets. After his accounting degree he began his career with a top five accounting firm, and managing projects in excess of $80 million for profit and non-profit organizations. He has consulted with some of the largest international contracting firms, designing projects and proposals.  Later in his career, he founded and grew a successful business in the financial service sector.

Steve has a B.S. in accounting from Tennessee Technological University and an MBA from Auburn University

Gene Cone, Principal

Mr. Cone has forty-years of Executive Management experience; serving as Division President for two Fortune 500 Companies. His Executive experience includes, International Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing. Mr. Cone brings deep experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Medical Device manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Textiles, and Distribution. Prior to joining Neri Capital Partners, he founded Management Solutions Corp, a business services firm assisting Owners and CEO's of companies in the development of M&A strategies, revenue enhancement, cost reduction strategies, product and market development, and the overall building of value in their companies.

Mr. Cone holds a BS Engineering from the University of Florida and received his MS Management from LaSalle University.

Don Simon, Principal

Mr. Simon, originally from Flint, Michigan, has over 30-years of business experience, beginning in the public accounting, auditing tier one and two manufacturing companies in the automotive market sector. In addition, he has experience with manufacturing, commercial and multi-family real estate management companies, restaurants, marinas, and most recently medical capital equipment companies Mr. Simon and his wife were also instrumental in founding a Primrose accredited pre-school, which was sold after 12-years of ownership.

Don has a B.A. Cum Laude in Management from Albion College.

Expertise: Commercial Real Estate, Restaurant Chains, Service Businesses, and Medical Sector.
