Projects Dental Ceramic Research Project, University of Maryland

The overall project goal was to design a new dental composite that is based off a polymer matrix, with ceramic powder being used as the filler.

I had been an integral part of the research team since the summer of 2013. Parts of the project I did ranged from preparing nanopowder for samples, to helping write reports based off of our findings.

Final stages of my work in the project included me personally choosing different chemicals to use as solvents, and helping determine direction of the project after I leave.

3D Printed Mug, Tethon 3D This project was an accumulation of the work that I did while working for Tethon 3D.

The mug was designed from scratch by using AutoCAD 2013.

From there I oversaw all aspects of its production. These aspects include working with a Z-Corp 310 Printer, to firing the mug in a kiln, to even glazing the mug myself.

Mug was created using a classified powder formula that I helped improve over my time as an intern at Tethon 3D.

Employment Tethon 3D – Internship, Summer 2014 Researcher, Formula Developer University of Maryland – Research Assistant, May 2013 to Present Research Assistant Impulse Marketing – Internship, Summer 2012 Administration, Data Entry, Proficiency Reviews
