NC NATP July 16, 2016 2016 NC NATP Annual Conference registration is under way. The Event will be held at the Mountain Lodge Resort & Conference Center in Flat Rock, NC. We are offering 15 CPE credits over the 3 day event, October 23-25, 2016. It’s a one stop shop! The classes offered are Ethics, Retirement Plans for Small business, Working Abroad and Form 2555, Substantiation, Annual Tax Update, and Tax Issues for Seniors. Registration fee is $249 for Early Birds, good until August 21st for members. After August 21st the rate is $279 for members and non-members. Please see page 2 for more details. Laura Strombom, EA ,MBA, NTPI Fellow will be our speaker for the event. Laura is from California and has been an EA since 2001, MBA since 1999, and an NTPI Fellow since 2010. She has taught Accounting and Business courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, and since 2014 has been an instructor for NATP. 2016 Annual Meeting Our 2016 Annual Meeting will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at our Annual Conference in Flat Rock, NC. We will have elections for board positions to our chapter. NC NATP State Tax Update Seminar was a Success!!NC NATP held their annual State Tax Update Seminar in Cary, NC on January 16, 2016. We want to thank NC Department of Revenue for their wealth of information. It was great seeing so many of our members and reconnecting. We SOLD OUT this event and hope to see you all at our Annual Conference in Flat Rock, NC. We would love to extend a warm thank you to all non-members who are attended our Tax Seminar. Registration will start at 6:30 Sunday evening and Ethics will begin at 7pm and conclude at 8:40pm. Laura Strombom is planning a fun activity for us and there will be PRIZES!!!!
Monday we will start at 7:30am and conclude at 5:30pm. Lunch and snack will be provided.
Tuesday we will start at 8:00am and conclude at 12:30pm. We will be providing a midmorning break with snacks.
