EROSION CONTROL NOTES:1. THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC SHALL BE PLACED IN THE EXCAVATED TRENCH, BACKFILLED, AND COMPACTED
TO THE EXISTING GROUND SURFACE.
2. WOODEN SUPPORT POSTS SHALL BE A MINIMUM DIMENSION OF 2" X 2" (NOMINAL) SOFT WOOD OR 1-1/8"x 1-1/8" AIR OR KILN DRIED POSTS OF HICKORY OR OAK. STEEL POSTS SHALL BE STUDDED "TEE" OR "U"TYPE WITH A MINIMUM WEIGHT OF 1.3 POUNDS PER LINEAL FOOT. POST SPACING SHALL BE A MAXIMUMOF 8 FEET.
3. THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC SHALL BE ATTACHED DIRECTLY TO THE UPSLOPE SIDE OF WOODEN POSTSWITH WIRE STAPLES IN AT LEAST 3 PLACES, OR WITH WOODEN LATH AND NAILS. ATTACHMENT TO STEELPOSTS WILL BE BY WIRE FASTENERS OR PLASTIC TIE STRAPS.
4. A WIRE SUPPORT FENCE MAY BE INSTALLED TO WHICH THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC IS ATTACHED. THE WIRESHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 14-1/2 GAGE WOVEN WIRE WITH A MAXIMUM MESH SPACING OF 6 INCHES. POSTSPACING SHALL BE A MAXIMUM OF 10 FEET. THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC SHALL BE FOLDED 3 INCHES OVERTHE WIRE FENCE AND SECURED WITH STAPLES OR WIRE RINGS SPACED AT 12 INCHES.
5. THE GEOTEXTILE FABRIC SHALL CONSIST OF EITHER WOVEN OR NON-WOVEN POLYESTER,POLYPROPYLENE, STABILIZED NYLON, POLYETHYLENE, OR POLYVINYLIDENE CHLORIDE. NON-WOVENFABRIC MAY BE NEEDLE PUNCHED, HEAT BONDED, RESIN BONDED, OR COMBINATIONS THEREOF. ALLFABRIC SHALL MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

HYDRAULIC MULCHING "HYDROSEEDING":ALL AREAS DISTURBED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY SHALL BE HYDROSEEDED AS FOLLOWS:
HYDRAULIC MULCHING SHALL CONSIST OF THE MIXING OF PURE WOOD FIBER MULCH, GRASS SEED,FERTILIZER AND TACKTIFIER EMULSION WITH WATER. IT SHALL BE MIXED IN STANDARD HYDRAULIC MULCHINGEQUIPMENT TO FORM A HOMOGENEOUS SLURRY. THE SLURRY SHALL BE SPRAYED, UNDER PRESSURE,UNIFORMLY OVER THE SOIL SURFACE AT THE MATERIAL APPLICATION RATE RECOMMENDED BY THEEQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. THE HYDRAULIC MULCHING EQUIPMENT SHALL CONTAIN A MOTORIZEDCONTINUOUS AGITATION SYSTEM THAT BLENDS ALL MATERIALS IN UNIFORM SUSPENSION THROUGHOUT THEMIXING AND DISTRIBUTION SPRAY CYCLE. THESE MATERIALS SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED
AT THE FOLLOWING RATES:

TEMPORARY SITE ACCESS ROADINSTALL TEMPORARY SITE ACCESS ROAD AT LOCATION INDICATED ON PLAN (THIS SHEET)
REMOVE EXISTING BRUSH, TREES, ETC. AND TOP 12 INCHES OF EXISTING VEGETATION AND TOPSOILUNDER LIMITS OF PROPOSED TEMPORARY SITE ACCESS ROAD.
GRADE AND INSTALL FILL AS REQUIRED TO INSURE SATISFACTORY DRAINAGE OF ACCESS ROAD. DO NOT BLOCK ORDAMAGE EXISTING DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS - REPAIR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES IMMEDIATELY.
FILL MATERIAL SHALL BE CLAY OR SANDY CLAY AND MAY BE ON SITE BORROW MATERIAL. INSTALL, GRADE, AND COMPACTFILL BY TRACKING IN WITH A BULLDOZER. NO COMPACTION REQUIREMENTS ARE SPECIFIED, BUT INSTALLATION MUSTALLOW FOR SATISFACTORY INSTALLATION OF GEOTECH SEPARATION FABRIC AND CRUSHED STONE.
INSTALL GEOTECH SEPARATION FABRIC (MIRAFI 600X OR EQUIVALENT) AS PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.INSTALL TWO (2) 6" COMPACTED LIFTS OF CRUSHED STONE (610 ROAD BASE) - GRADE AS REQUIRED TO INSURE DRAINAGETO SOUTH SIDE OF PROPERTY.
MAINTAIN TEMPORARY SITE ACCESS ROAD THROUGH DURATION OF PROJECT. THIS IS TO INCLUDE, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO,REPAIRS TO RUTTING AND REPAIRS TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY EROSION.

UNDERGROUND STORM DRAINAGE PIPES SHALL BE SDR(26) PIPE AS INDICATED. PIPES SHALL BE LAYED ON AMINIMUM 3 INCH SAND BED AND BACKFILLED WITH CRUSHED LIMESTONE TO AN ELEVATION LEVEL WITH THE TOPOF PIPE AND THEN BACKFILLED WITH STRUCTURAL FILL TO AN ELEVATION TO MATCH ADJACENT GRADE.CONTRACTOR SHALL ANCHOR PIPE AS RECOMMENDED BY PIPE MANUFACTURER TO PREVENT PIPE FLOATATION.

MAINTAIN TEMPORARY SITE ACCESS ROAD THROUGH DURATION OF PROJECT. THIS IS TO INCLUDE, BUT IS NOTLIMITED TO, REPAIRS TO RUTTING AND REPAIRS TO DAMAGE CAUSED BY EROSION.
REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF STONE AND GEOTEXTILE FABRIC FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION.INSTALL FILL AS REQUIRED TO RE-GRADE SITE TO MATCH PRE-CONSTRUCTION CONDITIONS AND INSURESATISFACTORY DRAINAGE OF SITE. FILL MAY BE STOCKPILED BORROW MATERIAL FROM EXCAVATIONACTIVITIES.

TYPICAL EROSION CONTROLS CAN BE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, MULCHING, GRASS, STOCKPILE COVERS, ETC.TYPICAL SEDIMENT CONTROLS (SEE DETAIL 2,3, & 4/C0.0) CAN BE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, SILT FENCING, INLETPROTECTION, SEDIMENT TRAPS, ETC.
CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT AND REPAIR EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS IMMEDIATELY AFTER MAJORRAIN EVENTS.
AFTER INSTALLATION OF EACH NEW CATCH BASIN CONTRACTOR SHALL ADEQUATELY SUPPLY AND INSTALL HAYBALES AND/OR FILTER FABRIC OVER EACH DRAIN INLETS. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL HAY BALES, SILTFENCING, ETC.
CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN SILT FENCING SURROUNDING STOCK PILES THROUGHOUT DURATION OF WORK.
CONTRACTOR SHALL SEED OR HYDROSEED GRASS AREAS IMMEDIATELY AFTER FINISH GRADING WORK.
CAP OFF AND SEAL DISCONTINUED UTILITY SERVICES AND REMOVE PORTIONS OF LINES WITHIN EXCAVATEDAREAS.
IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DETERMINE ALL FITTINGS REQUIRED FOR PIPING, INLETS, ETC. TOCOMPLETE PIPING SYSTEM.
GENERAL SITE INFORMATION:PROJECT SITE RUNOFF WILL ENTER AN EXISTING PIPE THAT DRAINS TO AN EXISTING OPEN DITCH AT THE SOUTHSIDE OF THE PROPERTY.
THE PROJECT JOB SITE HAS AN APPROXIMATE AREA OF ±0.45 ACRES THAT HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF BEINGDISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS:CRUSHED STONE AGGREGATE:
CRUSHED LIMESTONE SHALL MEET THE LADOTD SPECIFICATION FOR 610 ROAD BASE MATERIAL. INSTALLCRUSHED LIMESTONE OVER GEOTEXTILE MATERIAL. LIMESTONE AGGREGATE SHALL BE ROLLED SMOOTH TOFORM A TIGHT SURFACE WITH A LOADED DRUM ROLLER. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE A VIBRATORY PLATE WHENLOCATION RESTRICTS THE USE OF THE DRUM ROLLER.
STORM DRAINAGE PIPE:
UNDERGROUND STORM DRAINAGE PIPES ARE SHOWN ON PLAN WITH THE LENGTHS OF PIPE MEASURED TO THECENTER OF THE CATCH BASINS PLUS OR MINUS ONE FOOT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM A PIPINGLAYOUT TO VERIFY LOCATIONS OF CATCH BASINS AND LENGTHS OF PIPE.
UNDERGROUND STORM DRAINAGE PIPES SHALL BE SDR(26) PIPE AS INDICATED. PIPES SHALL BE LAYED ON AMINIMUM 3 INCH SAND BED AND BACKFILLED WITH CRUSHED LIMESTONE TO AN ELEVATION LEVEL WITH THE TOPOF PIPE AND THEN BACKFILLED WITH STRUCTURAL FILL TO AN ELEVATION TO MATCH ADJACENT GRADE.CONTRACTOR SHALL ANCHOR PIPE AS RECOMMENDED BY PIPE MANUFACTURER TO PREVENT PIPE FLOATATION.
