Adding NBC Learn Content  Log into your course.  Click Course Content.  

  Click Build Content and choose NBC Content.  

       

 You will be linked to the NBC learn website which contains all of the videos and documents to choose from. You can search by entering your criteria in the orange search bar in the right hand corner. You can search by discipline by choosing a category on the right hand side. You can return to Blackboard by clicking the return to Blackboard button.  

  After completing your search you can then choose what videos you wish to add to your course.  For example, I chose In the News from the left hand column and was presented with:  

 

 To select a video, click the thumbnail. The video then opens in the NBC Learn Media Player.  

  About the player:  SAVE: Clicking this will save it your playlist so you can always come back later to add it to your course. EMBED: Clicking this will embed the video into your Blackboard course. PRINT: Clicking this will print the entire transcript of the video. DOWNLOAD: Clicking this will download a copy of the video to watch offline.  CUE CARD: if your video has a cue card logo that means you can click the circular arrow at the top right hand corner and the player will flip over to give you keywords, descriptions, citations, etc.  It will look like this:  

 

 Click EMBED.  Your video is now embedded on the Course Content page at the bottom.
