CHARITY PARTNER

The NAF-Half Charity Partner program offers non-profits the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for their cause through a partnership with the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon and Navy 5 Miler event. The NAF-Half will reserve registration slots for the non-profit organization, who will in turn recruit runners who wish to dedicate their run to raising funds and awareness for a specific cause. To join, a runner must contact the non-profit organization (not NAF-Half), who will provide the runner a registration promo code to use to register for the race. The runner must register for the race utilizing the NAF-Half online registration system and then register for the non-profit’s program utilizing the non-profit’s registration system.

PROGRAM SPECIFICATIONS:• Must be a non-profit 501 (c)(3)• Must submit non-profit 501 (c)(3) license/permit• Limit of four (4) charity partners• Deadline to submit: December 31, 2014

CONSIDERATION IS BASED ON:• First to submit application, first considered• Number of prior years the charity organization was a partner of the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon

BENEFITS:• Navy-Air Force Half Marathon & Navy 5 Miler will reserve up to 50 race entry slots• Charity receives a registration promo code in which they can pass onto runners who are participating with the charity

organization. The code will also lock in the lowest registration fee for the half marathon ($70) and 5 miler ($40).• Opportunity to place advertisement in the runner bags• Logo placement on the official race guide
