Brief description
The instruments on the navigation equipment console are fixed on a
pivot. The navigation instruments can therefore be set at the
required angle of vision by the user. The target is pinpointed on the
notch and bead sights on the upper side of the magnetic compass.
If necessary, the diver can always revert to the course set by the
magnetic compass on the grid ring before the dive. In this way, even
after interrupting the dive, the diver can always resume the course of
the swim set previously.
The instruments on the navigation equipment console are set at an
angle so that the magnetic compass can be held horizontally and at
eye level pointing exactly on the set course.
3
Unlike traditional instrument panels this one can be held at eye level
during the dive which guarantees that the diver can focus on
maintaining the set course since he/she does not have to switch their
gaze between the navigation instruments and the set course.
In this way using our navigation system enables deviations off the set
course during the dive to be kept to a minimum.
When not in use the instrument faces can be turned inwards and so
protected.
The instruments can be fully adjusted by means of the four allen
screws on both sides.

Diving depth gauge
Manufacturer: W. Ludolph GmbH & Co. KG, Bremerhaven / Germany
The depth gauge used in the prototype of the navigation equipment
console is being replaced with a diving depth gauge which is at present
under construction and has the following specifications:
- housing made out of seawater-proof anti-magnetic submarine
steel (according to DIN 1.3964)
- precision indicator using a membrane pressure gauge system
- adjustment of the zero point to align with different air pressures at
different depths on the back of the instrument
- scale of degrees and needle printed in luminous "afterglow"
pigment - (DTD 573)
- non-reflecting toughened glass lid
The diving depth gauge will be available with different scales for different
maximum diving depths to suit the individual user’s requirements.
Construction conforms to DIN EN 13319 which specifies operational and
safety requirements and inspection procedures for depth gauges and
combined depth gauges and chronometers.
The diving depth gauge will meet the European diving equipment
standards and will be certified by Germanischer Lloyd Hamburg.
