Welcome
Welcome to SAICA’s video E-learning channel called Click2Start. This document addresses how to get
into and out of a webinar, watch videos and complete quizzes. We trust you that you will enjoy your
learning experience!
Clicking into a webinar
From the Click 2 Start Home Page, click on the title of the webinar that you would like to access.
On the webinar’s topic outline, you will see the speaker’s profile, videos and a quiz. Please note that
some webinars will also have additional resources such as links to additional information.

Navigating using breadcrumbs
Along the top of the page you will see words appear which are called breadcrumbs. These effectively
show your 'trail' into the activities or resources of a webinar. If you are in a video or quiz and wish to
return to the webinar page, simply click on the name of the webinar in the breadcrumbs. If you wish
to return to the Click2Start Home Page then click on that link. Please note that if you accidentally
logout of the platform you will need to login through the SAICA website again.

Navigating using links
You can also navigate the platform using a link. Once you have watched the video, click on the blue
highlighted link at the bottom of the video and it will take you directly to the quiz you will need to
complete for the video you just viewed. Remember you need to pass the quiz to obtain CPD.
Once you have successfully completed the quiz, you will need to go back to the course to view the
next video. At the bottom of the page will be a link called “Continue”, once you click on this you will
be returned to the landing page of the webinar you are completing.

Playing the video
Press play to begin viewing the video. In order to ensure that it plays smoothly, press pause while
the video is still near the beginning and allow the whole video to load which will take a minute or
two (the dark grey progress bar will move across). This is not likely to be necessary for international
members due to the higher bandwidth outside of South Africa.
Downloading the video
Instead of streaming the video through the internet, you can also download the video and save it to
your computer. To do this, follow the download link.

A screen will pop up asking if you want to open, save or cancel. This screen may vary slightly from
the screenshot depending on which browser you are using. Press save and indicate where on your
computer you would like to save it. Please note that, depending on the size of the video, this can
take several minutes. Once the video has saved, you will be able to watch the video directly from
your computer rather than through the internet.
Videos, quizzes and attaining CPD
Once you have finished watching the video, you need to complete the quiz. To do this click on the
tab at the bottom of the video, this will take you directly to the correct quiz you will need to
complete for the video you viewed. Please note that if you wish to exit the quiz once you have
started, you can use the breadcrumbs to get back to the webinar page.

The quizzes are used to assess the learning obtained from viewing the video and related resources.
You will have ten minutes to answer 4 multiple choice questions. Once you have answered all the
questions, click on ‘submit all and finish’.
If you achieve over 50%, you will receive 15 minutes verifiable CPD. You have an unlimited number
of attempts at the quiz, however once you have passed, you will not be permitted to complete it
again.
