Light Energy; • Comes from the sun • Allows photosynthesis
• Travels at high speed
• Travels in a straight line
• Travels as a wave

Colour of Opaque Objects
• What does it mean for an object to be a certain colour? -‐it means it only reflects
THAT colour of light -‐grass is green
because it reflects green light – the reflected green light travels to our eyes
What Colour is a Tomato? • under white light under green light
• a red object can only reflect red light • if there is no red light to reflect, the object absorbs all the other colours and appears black
