NATURE, HUMAN AND ANIMAL

NATUREEARTH is the only planet in the solar system that can support life. Millions of different species of living things are able to thrive on the planet Earth because of its large amounts of liquid water, its atmosphere containing a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen, and its moderate temperatures.

PLANTSHundreds of thousands of different species, or kinds, of plant grow on Earth. Most plants have several things in common. They need sunshine, water, and air to grow. They are not able to move around. All green plants use the sun's energy, water, and a gas called carbon dioxide to make their own food. Some plants are so tiny that people can hardly see them. Others are trees that grow as tall as skyscrapers.

ANIMALSMillions different kinds of animals live on Earth. Animals are found throughout the world, from the freezing polar zones to the hottest deserts. They live on land and in the water. Animals come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes, ranging from tiny insects and worms to giant elephants and whales.

HUMANSHumans have been existed on earth about 5 million years ago. Humans have a highly developed brain and are capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and problem solving. This mental capability, combined with an erect body carriage that frees the hands for manipulating objects, has allowed humans to make far greater use of tools than any other living species on Earth.

HUMANS IMPACTS ON LIVING THINGSHumans are now responsible for causing changes in the environment that hurt animals and plant species. We take up more space on Earth for our homes and cities. We illegally hunt and kill animals. All of these activities take resources and habitats away from plants and animals. Because human populations are growing so fast animals and plants are disappearing 1000 times faster than they have in the past 65 million years.

CONCLUSIONPlants and animals around the world

are going to be extinct or endanger because of human. Biologists have predicted that up to 20 percent of all living

populations could become extinct in 2030.
