On a tiny island in the Indian Ocean called Mauritius, there once lived

an extraordinary bird called the Dodo.

THE DODO ENJOYED ITS LIFE

it had no predators on Mauritius

EVERYWHERE so the Dodo carried on

its happy life with no thought of tomorrow.

Times were fat. Food was

Why would I fly when I can waddle quite happily? What do I want wings for?

No need for the fat bird with skinny little legs to fly.

AND THEN…

YUM! A FAT BIRD WITH SHORT LEGS

WHO CAN’T FLY! PERFECT!

GOODBYE to the Dodo – the fat bird with short legs and small

underdeveloped wings that failed to evolve ahead

of the threat.

So, the world said

JUST LIKE THE DODO

Before 2008, the US regulations surrounding real
