We hope you have an enjoyable weekend! Sarah (MD), Sue, (Treasurer ) Helen (Secretary) and Zoe (Organiser)

Isobel Clarke Isobel is currently pursuing Doctoral studies in Musicology at the Royal College of Music in London as an RCM Scholar. Her research focuses on performance practices relating to the early 17th century Stylus Phantasticus repertoire of Italy and Central Europe. Isobel currently performs with Audite Nova and as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player .She also teaches and currently runs the Recorder Ensemble and Consort courses at the City Lit in London. Born in Cornwall, Ben Cracknell attended Richard Lander School and Truro College before graduating from the Royal College of Music in 2012. During his time at the RCM, Ben was an active chamber musician as a founding member of Consort Audite Nova and took particular interest in solo
contemporary repertoire. Performance highlights include: the Royal Albert Hall and Olympic Theatre, Paris (with 'Metronomy'); Greenwich Early Music Festival; UK premier of 'Stainless Safari' by Helga Pogatschar; and World Premier of 'Melodian' by Philip Ashworth. Ben won a scholarship to study for his Masters in Performance Science at the RCM where his
research focuses on musicians' behaviour and its impact on performance evaluation. Ben will commence his teacher training at the Wandsworth Primary Schools Consortium in September 2014. Elspeth Robertson is currently completing her final year of her Masters Degree in Historical Performance at the Royal College of Music. She is a Scholar supported by the South Square Trust Award. Appearing as both a concerto soloist and as a chamber musician, Elspeth has performed in Italy, Australia and Holland and toured as principle oboe player with RCM Baroque orchestra under the baton of Sir Roger Norrington, appearing at the BBC Proms in summer 2012. Recent accomplishments include performing and recording Bach’s Brandenburg concerto no. 4 with the internationally renowned ensemble Florilegium.
The Dolce Consort will give a short recital 12-12.30pm in the Refectory - some light entertainment whilst you eat lunch! They are a Cornish Recorder Consort consisting of students who are grade 5 and above.
