sumarryNational SocialismThe National Socialism also called national-socialist German labour partyWas set up in 1919 they were also called Nazis.The first ten year it remained a small party but an economic crisis came and they

developed in 1929.The crisis had started in the US but then the crisis came to Europe and especially

Germany had to suffer because Germany was re-build with American money after the First World War.

America wanted to lend no more money and the loan what Germany had, had to be paid back.

Its because of that that many companies in Germany went bankrupt.Other companies had to restrict their production and had to dismiss workers because of

this became 4 billion people unemployed.In these years the NSGLP grew in 1932 it was with 37% the largest party in Germany.The republic of Weimar stopped because they didn't know how to solve the economic

crisis in Germany.So the Germans had to choose another partySome went to the communists and many other went to the NSDAP they where especially

attracted because Hitler promised to make Germany a large and powerful country.

Why was did the nsdap became so strong

• Without the economic crisis the NSDAP had never become that large but that was not the only one that made them so powerful:

• The way they announced themselves with film and television and because Hitler came everywhere in Germany to explain what his plans where for Germany.

• The individuality of Hitler helped because people got the feeling that they could really trust him.

• The promises of the Nazis where in fact the dreams of people. Dreams like money, work and protection the three things of what they thought they would never get.

• the armies of the NSDAP called the SA and the SS. These armies showed people that they had a lot of self confidence en where strong. Or people became frightened of them and didn't dare to say anything bad about the Nazis.

• The Nazis made a scapegoat so they could blame a group of people for the bad things that happened in Germany and they gave all the blame to the Jews.
