Demystifying the Estate Planning Process: What You Need to Know to Be an Educated Consumer
Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 pm Registration is required. No PTPLD card is necessary.
Creating an estate plan can be an emotional topic. It is difficult to address your own mortality and talk about what will happen to your loved ones when you are no longer here. It can also seem like an impossible process to understand the
laws and taxes involved and to know whether you have hired the right people to help you through the process. This presentation from the Chicago Estate Planning Council is designed to help you know what questions to ask and to
highlight some of the important issues in the estate planning process.
Tax Time is Here…
Some time in January the library will receive a limited number of basic tax forms
and instructions. They will be available in the foyer as soon as they arrive. The
Reference Staff can also download copies of forms for the price of 10¢ per page
(black and white). Library staff cannot assist you in
preparing or filing tax forms, but we will do our best to locate them for you.
