We talked about a report that Switchboard inBrighton had written about the challenges forpeople with learning disabilities who are LGBT.
You can see the report herehttp://goo.gl/AKKD8X
It caused lots of discussion amongst forummembers.
We wanted to play a film about these issuesthat was made by Richard Blake, but itwouldn’t work.
The film is about Richard, Richard is the ex co-

We are coming up to the second anniversaryof Richard’s death. I’m sure Richard would bepleased to know the work he did is being used. Please do share the film with your regions – here is the link.

Loneliness
We ran out of time following Karen’s
presentation and the group photo to run thissession.
We were going to talk to members of the forumabout what loneliness is, and how they stopthemselves being lonely.
Two of the forum’s priorities are ‘Being heard’
and ‘Being safe’. If you are lonely, you haveless chance of being heard, and are moreisolated with fewer people looking out for youand making sure you are safe.
The workshop was going to be based on workthat the Joseph Rowntree Foundation did onloneliness.
