Re: Freedom of Information Act Request NGClO-106

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request of March 4,2010, for a copy of the agency log or listing of Mandatory Declassification Review Requests at the National Archives and Records Administration (but not for the Presidential Libraries unless they are merged with NARA for MDR tracking). Your request was received in this office on March 9,2010, and assigned tracking number NGClO-106.

We are disclosing to you at this time a printout of the log for all MDR requests dated August 13, 2001, to February 16, 2010.

If you are not satisfied with our action on this request, you have the right to file an administrative appeal. Address your appeal to the Deputy Archivist (ND), National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland 20740. Your appeal should be received within 35 calendar days of the date of this letter and it should explain why you think this response does not meet the requirements of the FOIA. Both the letter and the envelope should be clearly marked "Freedom of Information Act Appeal." All correspondence should reference the tracking number NGClO-106.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance. I may be reached by phone at (301) 837-2025 or bye-mail at [email protected].

Sincerely,

JAY OLIN NARA Deputy FOIA Officer Office of General Counsel
