Art Director New York, NY 10040 [email protected] www.nathandaniels.info I have been a problem solver since childhood. My dad taught me to play 3D Tetris while loading boxes of crafts and antiques for our family business, a bi-annual bazaar. THE BAZAAR, as we called it, combined hundreds of vendors’ crafts and antiques together. In time, it was my job to attractively display the crafts and antiques. As a partially deaf, macaron baking, Christmas light hanging, hidden Mickey master – I like to defy any single stereotype people might give me. You could say my Oregon upbringing helped me seek the unique. Plus, I love walking in the rain without an umbrella. As an Oregonian, that’s just what we do. I want to solve problems and create something extraordinary. Oversee art freelancers in absence of group art director. May 2016 to Current The Universe, Provo, Utah - Designer Student Manager - Generated creative content for BYUs weekly student newspaper and two campus magazines. Managed a team of students and directed their weekly campaigns and supported other campus groups. Directed on site photo shoots for feature stories. September 2014 to April 2016 FCB Health, New York, New York - Art Director Intern - As a creative intern I worked with teams of other interns generating visual content for ads. Pulmozyme and Lucentis were two of the pharmaceutical clients I worked on. June 2015 to August 2015 BYU Adlab, Provo, Utah - Advertising Student - Assisted student led advertising agency in creating 360 campaigns for off campus clients inlcuding: Stance, Subaru, Nike +, Levi’s, Cotopaxi, Hot Wheels, and Best Western. Special projects included, packaging design for Home Depot product and set design for Salt Lake Comic Con.
