  • What did I learn? I learned that Manufacturing machines are not magical or witchcraft, but that It relies on that coordinate grid system that was taught in math.
  • Slide 4
  • How was it challenging? It was challenging because we had to scale the images and letters we wanted to write on the glass.
  • Slide 5
  • How can I use this in the future? I can use this in the future if I become a computer programmer, so I can more easily program understand how to program a CNC mill.
  • Slide 6
  • How did I use math, science, history, and english arts? I used math by using the coordinate grid to create the design. I saw science as the mechanical parts formed the design. I learned the history of it. Before, you had to write the code in each time to create the design. Now, you dont have to code it, you just create the design and it tells the machine for you. And finally, I used English Arts by writing notes down about how it works.

  • What is something I learned this semester that I didnt know? before? I learned that manufacturing with CNC mills relies on a coordinate grid system. I also learned that it was not always easy designing a product. You had to code it in a computer language, which can seem very complicated, and is complicated. I am thankful for how advanced technology has gotten these days.
