ATTENDEE

TESTIMONIALS NASN2013 attendees were asked “What were the strengths of attending NASN’s Annual Conference?” and here are some of the responses: A great opportunity to learn, to network with other school nurses, to see how school nurses practice across the country, meet new people, have fun etc… There are so many strengths in this conference. I love coming!

An excellent range of topics offered. There was something for everyone at this conference.

It's great to see the enthusiasm and passion others have for this profession. It inspires me to go back in the fall and do more.

I learned so much in such a short time. I had no idea all these resources were there and discovered such a wonderful, supportive, willing to help network of school nurse.

I was impressed with the quality of the presentations and the depth of the speakers' knowledge this year.

It was good to view the new products that vendors had and to receive health information from specialty groups.

There was great exposure to new ideas and people on the cutting edge of new ideas.

It encourages networking and creates venues for problem solving from all corners of the country and world!

The syllabus of slides/handouts is invaluable. It helped me choose the sessions and gave me resources for the sessions I could not attend. I will be using this for some time.

It provides an opportunity for varying information to be shared that would otherwise take a lot of time for individuals to gather themselves.

NASN continues to provide strong presentations which directly impact my practice on an individual, state, and national level. Learning from other states, as well as accessing national resources, positively impacts my practice. This is the most valuable conference I can attend.

I came out of EACH session with a call to action and/or idea. In the next few days, I will be compiling and prioritizing the ideas to prepare for the new school year, sharing with my nursing administrators and colleagues what I have learned. I have never come away more inspired and with more concrete information and tools than I have this year.

The NASN 2013 Conference was awesome!! My first NASN conference was definitely a great investment!

The impact of being a part of such a powerful

organization is awe inspiring. I felt so proud to be a part of NASN.

A variety of CEU opportunities!

The leadership!!!
