Data center systems and equipment, who manufactures them, how they’re engineered to work together, the performance they’re designed to deliver and the environment in which they operate are all important to know when choosing your data center provider. But, it’s not nearly enough. Read why Peak 10 is so different from the rest.
Nashville 3 is one of the strategically located, enterprise-class data centers in
Peak 10’s geographically diverse network of technology campuses. It serves the
Nashville, Tennessee market and beyond with reliable colocation, private cloud
solutions and managed services. Peak 10’s Nashville technology campus is also
home to one of our robust cloud clusters, enabling us to offer secure public and
hybrid cloud solutions to customers around the world.

breadth of expertise and resources you’d expect from a leading national IT
infrastructure solution provider — and the personal attention, accountability and
proven track record of success that will instill you with confidence that your IT
assets are in good hands.
We’re In IT Together
What distinguishes Peak 10 from most of our competitors is our consultative
approach. If you know what you need, we can fulfill your request. However, we
prefer to work with you to develop the most appropriate solution that takes in
account your current and future needs. It’s our standard way of doing business
and available to you at no charge. You’ll also have access to ongoing expertise
from our engineering professionals. In addition, we periodically conduct
reviews to ensure the services we’re delivering to you are continuing to meet
your needs. Bottom line: your success is our success.
On-site Expertise
All Peak 10 technology campuses are staffed by a general manager and director
of service delivery. They are empowered to make decisions at the local level to
best serve you and “get the job done right and right away.” Each Peak 10 data
center, Nashville 3 included, is also staffed by on-site technical experts 24/7/365

High Performance and Uptime
Like all Peak 10 data centers, Nashville 3 features best-of-breed technology and
equipment from our world-class partners such as EMC, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware,
BAE Systems, CommVault and others. We also employ strict protocols and
schedules for systems testing and maintenance.
Nashville 3 meets or exceeds the uptime criteria and performance standards for Tier
II data center facilities, cost effectively providing you with the levels of uptime and
reliability that best meet your requirements. Services are backed by industry-leading
SLAs for uptime and availability.
Environmental Controls/Redundancy
Designed for efficiency and cost savings, Nashville 3 incorporates efficient cooling
solutions to ensure consistent temperature and humidity levels at all times to
protect mission-critical technology. In addition, all critical facility components
(i.e. UPS and cooling systems) are redundant. This enables us to perform regular
preventive equipment maintenance with no impact to you.
Best-in-Class Network
Nashville 3 is served by the Peak 10 network, which was built to meet or exceed
commercial telecommunications standards worldwide for availability, integrity
and confidentiality. It incorporates redundancy to ensure reliable connectivity and
maximum uptime with no single-point data transmission bottlenecks to or from the
data center. Our best-in-class network features:
• Redundant paths for Internet connectivity and to provide connectivity to other
Peak 10 locations
• Redundant carriers per location, providing flexibility to customers when choosing
private connectivity to their premises and trusted third parties
• Dynamic, performance optimized routing via automated, ongoing hop-count and
latency monitoring to provide the best possible end user experience
• Burstable services to accommodate unforeseen or seasonal demand
Disaster- and Recovery-ready
All Peak 10 technology campuses have tested storm and emergency preparedness
plans and multi-faceted recovery plans in place to help minimize service disruptions
and ensure continued operations. For customers subscribed to Peak 10 Recovery
Cloud, a disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) solution, data is replicated and
synchronized to secondary data centers. In the event that a primary data center fails,
all operations fail over to the secondary data centers.
Audits, Certifications and Standards
For most companies, adherence to any number of regulations and industry
standards is a requirement for doing business in a global market. It also can be
time consuming, and doesn’t come cheap. That’s why it’s good to have Peak 10 in
your corner. We have a dedicated compliance officer and analyst on staff. Plus,
you can leverage our audit-ready facilities and cloud infrastructure to ensure
the security and availability of your applications and data —and help meet your
company’s compliance requirements. Peak 10 has successfully completed a variety
of compliance certifications. These reports and other documentation are available to
Peak 10 customers through our web-based customer portal.
In addition, Peak 10 holds Cisco Cloud Provider Certification with Cisco Powered
Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) designation and Cisco Powered Disaster
Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) designation under the Cisco Cloud and Managed
