2.0 Introduction
Company History
Established on 20th July 2006, Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd was
registered under the Company Act 1965 by the Malaysia Government.
Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd was founded by Dato’ Mohd Nasir Bin Mohd
Kassim who is currently the Managing Director of the company. Nasdeem Ventures
Sdn Bhd started in 2007 with the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment
Reports (EIA). EIA is essentially a planning tool for preventing environmental
problems due to an action. It seeks to avoid costly mistakes in project
implementation, either because of the environmental damages that are likely to arise
during project implementation, or because of modifications that may require
subsequently in order making the action environmentally acceptable.
The development of its premises on its 1 acre own land was started in 2008
and the construction was fully completed in 2009 together with the approval license
from Department of Environment (DOE). The company started operation in
January 2010 with total number of 10 employees. The main office is located at
Bukit Minyak Industrial Area, Pulau Pinang and in beginning focusing to provide
services in Schedule Waste Management.
Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd grew and evolved through the years, becoming
better and better with each step. Today, Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd is gearing
ahead and ready to expand further. The company is now focusing to venture into oil
and gas commercial businesses, with focusing on wholesaling and transportation of
petroleum and bunkering service as a side focusing business.

focusing on:
SCHEDULED WASTE MANAGEMENT - DOE
Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd (NVSB) are licensed by the Department of
Environment (DOE) on Off-site Recovery Facility and Transportation for
scheduled waste codes SW 305, SW306, SW 307, SW 308, SW 309 and SW
409. We have capable working capacity of 200 MT per-months and can
cater most of the industrial community that needs the waste spent oil services
and facilities.
Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd Full Recovery Licenses:
SW 305 – Spent lubricating oil
SW 306 – Spent hydraulic oil
SW 307 – Spent mineral oil-water emulsion
SW 308 – Oil tanker sludge
SW 309 – Oil-water mixture such as ballast waste
SW 409 – Disposed containers, bags or equipment contaminated with
chemicals, pesticides, mineral oil or scheduled wastes. Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd also provides consultation and services for other waste codes if desired by the customer. Besides, Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd also provides oil interceptor cleaning services.

4.0 Business Concept
Schedule Waste Management As an authorized licensed holder from DOE, our business services includes:-
i. Collection and transport of schedule waste code SW 305, SW306, SW307,
SW 308, SW 309 and SW409 from shipping, industrial and automotive centre.
ii. Recovery process of scheduled wastes.
iii. Selling Recycled Fuel Oil as product to our customer. Further to these services, Nasdeem Ventures also provides Recovery Fuel Oil
(RFO) as an end product of this recovery process by drums or IBC tank for industrial
usage.
The recovery process involves the purifications process for removal of water,
gasses, impurities and volatile matters from the spent oil thus improving oil quality,
recover viscosity and flash point of the spent oil product. The purification process
involves the following steps:-
i. Primary filtration process
ii. Vacuum vaporization process
iii. Secondary filtration process
iv. Tertiary filtration process

Standard Operating Procedure Scheduled Wastes
1. Collection and Transport
a. The scheduled waste is to be brought from the customer’s company
into Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd.
2. Receiving and Storage
a. The scheduled waste collected must be transferred into the waste
tank according to the type of waste at the UNLOADING BAY.
b. The valve must be operated so that the waste will enter the waste
tank according to the tank’s waste code namely SW 305, SW 306,
SW 307, SW 308, SW 309.
3. Purification process
a. The waste must be channeled through the purifier to undergo
purification of used oil
i. It begins with filtration to separate large solids from the used oil
ii. Next the used oil will undergo vacuum vaporization to remove
mixed water from the oil.
iii. After that, the used oil undergoes two more filtration in order to
remove solids that are managed to pass through the first
filtration.
4. Purified Oil Storage and Distribution
a. The waste oil that has undergone purification must be transferred into
Recovery Fuel Oil, RFO Tank for storage.
b. The RFO will be transferred into drums or IBC at the LOADING BAY
and load them into the lorry for transport.
c. The purified oil will be distributed to the customers.
5. Scheduled waste produced by company
a. The residue of storage of waste oil, SW 501 and rags contaminated
with waste oil, SW 410 are regularly stored at a designated area and
LABELLED.
b. Every 6 months, those waste will be send for disposal at a licensed
facility.
Nasdeem Ventures Sdn Bhd has the sufficient unit of road tankers, lorry, oil barge
and ship tanker for transportation services of schedule waste in Malaysia.
