The forest roams with evil and destruction which all began when there was a death of a working class pregnant fifteen year old girl. Her vulnerability and powerless nature led to aggressors inflicting damage on her which gave them satisfaction. The only haven she ever had was the forest whereby she wants to make everyone see how authority can damage you which she inflicts on all of her victims that set their foot on the forest. From that day forward, no one ever dared to go the forest or all shall be cursed.

This 'rumour' wasn't entrenched in Lucy's and Kate's mind. They both knew that this is just a made-up folk tale of the forest as it was the best way to scare people. But, they both knew that they are the last people's to ever get scared. So, they chose to go to the forest and unlock the truth of the forest. The problem is that their parents will never let them go because everyone but them believe in the so-called truth of the Forest. So, they decided to get a reliable friend to come with them and tell their parents that they are having a sleepover.

All of the friends prepare what they are going to in the forest in Lucy's house. Luckily, Lucy's parents went to a local function party so they all wear dark clothes and take all the necessary items to their adventure in their local Forest.

The closer the friends get towards the forest, the more discomfort they feel but Lucy and Amy choose to ignore this. This isn't necessarily the case for their reliable friend, Sara as she cannot take it and feels awfully sick so she decides to go home which makes Lucy and Kate feel disappointed. Despite their disappointment, they continue to embark their adventure. Unfortunately their adventure soon ends when there is a 'No Entry' sign in the entrance of the Forest. Lucy and Amy don't want their adventure to end so soon therefore they decide to continue which will enable them to leave quicker. The end result of this adventure is what Lucy and Amy were looking for.

The further the friends get in the forest, the more bored and sleepy they feel. They both compromised by stating "We will only walk for two extra minutes" which they both abide to until a voice is heard thus compromising their minutes. Lucy turns around to Kate to understand everything but she finds Kate gone.

Lucy hears a voice calling her name in a eerie, soothing voice. This voice gets louder and quicker which affects Lucy greatly. She runs in the forest, hoping the voice to disappear, but as the voice follows her. She trips over a rock and her shoes as well as her socks come off which drops inside a big, gruesome mud. This mud eats up Lucy's footwear and her foot starts to swell up. She runs to find a safe habitat for her to stay despite her swelled up foot.

Despite her reassurance, she knew she had to leave. But, her friend, Kate, has disappeared so she decided that she needs to find her and they can both run out of the forest together. As Lucy walks further, she has a innate feeling that something bad is going to happen but she decides to ignore it. She walks to a path and sees a feet flying up from the ground which scares Lucy and she runs away trying to find a safe haven.

She calms down and she hears chanting of a group of people which leaves her confused but she decides to figure out who is making all the commotion. They were a group of girls holding hands in a circle but she couldn't tell how old they were. The nursery rhythm they were chanting to make the people seem young which doesn't make Lucy threatened at all. But, after they finished chanting, they all disappeared which scared Lucy a lot.

But, Lucy hears Kate's voice which makes her forget about what happened earlier and solely focuses on trying to find her friend. She runs back towards the voice and the voice soon stops. The view that is shown before her is the same place she was earlier and she concluded that her mind is playing games with her. She decides to forget about her friend for a while and focus on her well-being so she slowly lays down a tree till she sits down. She tries to control her breathing due to her constant running but her breathing intensifies when someone grabs her and tries to strangle her.

She turns around and the spirit disappears. A growing easiness was felt by Lucy's wrist which symbolises death which leaves her scared. She is rocking back and forth in the tree whilst cursing at Kate's stupidity. She wishes they never went to the cursed forest and Kate stood by her side. She shouts and tells the spirit to give back her friend. She doesn't know if the spirit has her friend but it seems odd that the spirit appears when her friend disappears.

Lucy hears a voice calling her name again and she turns around to try to see the person. The spirit appears in front of her and whispers 'Wish is granted' then disappears again. She finds a piece of paper in her hand which says 'Walk straight to find K' and she walks straight but she is unable to control herself so she runs despite her bloody foot.

Lucy finally finds her friend, Kate but she isn't necessarily in a great condition. Her strong, powerful nature all crumples away when Lucy cries and cries and cries. The amount of tears they were doesn't correlate with time at all. Whilst Lucy was crying, Kate was slowly coming back to life until Amy hugs Lucy. Jane appears until Lucy notices she's there and realises that Jane was the reason why Amy came back to life.

Jane points out that she will back soon and their fight hasn't finished yet. The cursed nature of the forest disappears when Jane leaves it. Lucy and Kate wrap their arms together and walk out of the forest. They stare at each other, both knowing their fight with Jane hasn't finished and they must return to the cursed forest once again.
