Fun Fact!
Nostra Citta!•Napoli is the capital of Campania which is the region it is located in
•population size 960,000 third most populated city in Italy
•Area of city: 117.27 km2 (45.28 sq mi)
Michelle
Chi ha fondato la nostra città?
• The city was founded by the Greeks and later enlarged by the Romans. Napoli was originally named Parthenope after a Greek siren who washed ashore after throwing herself into the sea after failing to seduce Odysseus with her song.
Michelle
“Who founded our city?”
Semplicimente Bella
•The city is known for being the birth place of pizza, and its cuisine and wine.
•Naples generally enjoys very good weather, typical of a city near the Mediterranean, with 250 days of glorious sunshine. Even at the height of summer around August, the city still maintains cool temperatures, benefiting from the light winds coming from the sea.

Plebiscito•It is one of the largest squares in Napoli. The location is very close to the gulf. •Ferdinand 1st continued construction on Plebiscito after Napoleon was sent away.
•The style of the church is a reminder of the Pantheon in Rome because of its panoramic layout as well as the dome shaped building.

Spaccanapoli•This is a main street that is in the heart of the historic center. It is a narrow and winding street that has many pedestrians in it. This has been a consistent street that has seen constant change and yet has kept it’s authenticity.

Napoli Sotterranea
•Take the underground tour: walk the tunnels under Napoli, also called “Napoli Sotteranea”. Here is where you see storefronts as well as laundry mats still intact from way back. Take a jacket though because it’s cold. Jade
