• 2 ½ days, 17 speaker sessions including mix of technical and programmatic and Key Note. 11 gov’t speakers attended live and another 4 presented remotely (5 presentations of 20 were remote)
• Cost: Hotel $35,706.31 + ~$1,000 in expenses• Survey Results – 28 respondents• ~50% rated all categories as either very
satisfied or satisfied• ~10% were dissatisfied with some (one or
more) aspect• 0% were very dissatisfied with any aspect

• Appreciated San Antonio, its conveniences and amenities and the hotel
• Poster/Table Top Exhibits huge success! – but presenters need to be present
• Include SB government leaders as speakers – SB USACE HQ or SB Army
• Include food variety for special diets (e.g., gluten free)• Too much on classification• Provide Webinar/Call-in for remote attendees (SBs cant
afford to send everyone)• Include State regulators• Webinar technology improvements• Suggested Locations for Future Events: Washington DC; San
Antonio, TX; Huntsville, AL; San Diego, CA; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Hilton Head, SC; Seattle, WA; Reno, NV.

• 1st Committee Meeting of 2013 – January 23• Identify strategic plans and goals
• Evaluate paid advertising on NAOC website• Annual Meeting location and date selection and
early coordination on theme/speakers/format• Support to Government Affairs, as needed, for
spring Fly-In• Support to ESTCP with Meetings as Needed and
within Policy Constraints• Continue Branding and Communications Initiatives
– Promotional Items, Keeping Website Current• Coordinate with other committees to identify
subjects, contributors and forum for presentation of articles of interest published under the NAOC name
