International nurseries though a bit on the pricier side, teach kids a lot more compared to sitting at home with a qualified nanny. Dubai is a city built for the rich and with that comes its running costs. Costs that its citizens must be able to be able to pay so that they and their families can survive flourish and prosper. Apart from the expensive utility bills that residents always complain about, there are also education costs. Such costs are unavoidable as education is a must for every child, anywhere. The cost for good nursery education is expensive no doubt; and the prices keep climbing depending on the area you live in and upon the type of nursery in Dubai you are approaching. International nurseries in Dubai are expensive and they will always be a crowd puller no matter how bad the situation or the economy gets. This is where things get a bit serious. If you think that your child is simply going to an International nursery in Dubai to play, then you are wrong. International nurseries though a bit on the pricier side, teach kids a lot more compared to sitting at home with a qualified nanny. The basic idea behind sending kids to any nursery is to get the required learning, discipline, training and more importantly prepare them for the full time school, that they would be attending in the near future. Children always need that foundation and confidence when they begin attending school, to voice out their opinions and at the same time, appreciate the individuals around them.

Sitting at home during the early years will often create a barrier between children and the outside world (other children). They may be able to make up for this during play in a park, but will certainly not get them to understand the value of working together and communicating with each other. Even a well qualified nanny will not be able to turn an introvert into an extrovert without external help. And these problems will linger into their pre-school or school lives hindering their chances at various opportunities.

Still then, there is no hard and fast rule that says that only nursery educated children have made it big; meaning that other methods up till school do and have worked effectively as well.

What you choose for your child would eventually depend on your family planning and the money that you have decided to allocate for your child’s education. Whether you decide to give you child the best education in the early years or during college is entirely up to you. But the question here is — are you willing to take that risk?
