History

The Nandanvan Estate, is located in the Palani Hills near Kodaikanal, in Tamil Nadu. The estate is 28 acres at an elevation of 4500 feet. Along a steep hillside lay the coffee plantations. Some of the finest Arabica coffee is grown at this high elevation.Nandan Coffee was established in the year 1994 by Late Mr. Hansraj V. Mariwala. In a short span of time it captured most of the places nationally and internationally. In 2012 his son, Shyam Mariwala took over the operations of the estate.The organic coffee beans grown in the ecosystem of this foggy and striking locale of The Nandanvan Estates are internationally acclaimed as one of the most favored organic coffee. Due to the high elevation the coffee grows slowly, taking its time in absorbing flavors from the surrounding crops.

Freshly Roasted Coffee Did you know that once roasted, coffee begins to lose its taste and aroma within a matter of days, even in specially sealed packaging? You may well be buying coffee that is well past its prime without even knowing it!When you place your order with us, your coffee is freshly roasted (& ground if required) and then delivered direct to your door. This way, you receive your coffee in peak condition. We can supply coffee to every location within 5 days from the date of order.

Features

Fluid Bed RoasterWe use Fluid bed roaster for roasting our specialty coffee. The main advantage to using a fluid bed roasters is that it provides roast uniformity. Many people attest that the coffee roasted in a fluid bed produces a better cup of coffee.

PackagingWe take special care in packaging our coffee. The freshly roasted coffee is highly sensitive to air, without protection of product it would not retain its flavor .Thus, we use High barrier foil and one-way degassing valve to protect the coffee during transportation.
