Long History in the lighting BusinessNamyung Lighting is one of the top manufacturers and worldwide suppliers of automotive halogen bulbs, Xenon HID lamps, and LED lamps (household, automotive miniature bulbs), under its registered brand, EAGLEYE, for over 50 years now, since its foundation in 1962. We have managed to keep the highest standard of quality since we started manufacturing incandescent bulbs and fluorescent tubes, under the quality system of ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001. Especially, for the automotive halogen bulbs, we have “DOT” approved by ETL U.S., and ”E1“ approved by TUV-Germany. Namyung Lighting has been growing, with the passion of developing innovative lighting products for safer driving. Core Competencies

Namyung Lighting, headquartered in Seoul, has three factories in South Korea. Gimpo Factory is our anchor factory for automotive halogen bulbs; Suwon Factory, for our HID Xenon bulbs; and Gwangju Factory, for our LED bulbs. Two hundred experienced and passionate employees make and sell our highest-quality lighting bulbs worldwide. Long Lighting HistorySince its foundation, Namyung Lighting has accumulated experience in handling glass tubes, filaments, gases of incandescent bulbs, and fluorescent tubes, which are the core elements of automotive halogen bulbs. Product ReliabilitySince its foundation, NAMYUNG has been committed to building trust in its more than 100 customer businesses in 50 countries around the world, and has continually developed and invested in the making of the best products and secured the best quality. The experts at NAMYUNG, the specialized halogen bulb maker, conduct a wide range of tests on all the company’s products, such as shape measurement, lifespan, vibration and shock, and vision tests. Recognized for such efforts, NAMYUNG is supplying its products in OEM to world-class lamp housing companies and automakers. Our know-how and expertise in various tests and OE lighting enable us to provide you with best-quality products.

Geometry TestMeasures the precision in l ight source alignment and focus, inspects products according to ECE Regulation No. 37, and checks the filament geometry by item.

Life TestChecks the lifespan and lasting ability of the halogen bulb; manages the inspection processes according to ICE Regulation 60801; conducts a life expectancy test by item; owns a DC-type 270ch machine and an AC-type 335ch machine; and checks the real-time life span through a computerized control system.

Vibration and Shock TestPerforms electrodynamic and shock tests to check the vibration resistance particularly of the bulb and the filament; manages the inspection processes according to IEC Regulation 60810; conducts a halogen bulb vibration and shock test by item; and owns dedicated measurement zigs for H7, H8, H9, H11, and H16.

Light Flux MeasurementTests the light flux and luminous intensity using the standard halogen bulb; manages the inspection processes according to ECE Regulation No. 37; conducts a halogen lamp lumen and kelvin test by item; and secures high lumen reliability by using the standard bulb made by Germany Certificate Authority (TUV) in the test. In addition, conducts the lumen maintenance test according to IEC60810,

Airtightness TestPerforms tests to check the bulb’s airtightness; manages the inspection processes according to SAE Regulat ion J1383; conducts a halogen bulb lamp sealing test by item; and owns dedicated measurement zigs for H8,H9,H11,H16,HB1,HB3,HB4,HB5, and 880’S.

Deflection TestAdopts a non-destructive test method for determining the relationship between the compressive load and the deflection for vulcanized rubber; manages the inspection processes according to SAE Regulation J1383; and conducts a halogen bulb deflection test by item.
