RAP: Read a paragraph. Ask yourself, “What are the main idea and details?” Put the main idea details into your own words.

What is this paragraph about? It’s about _(topic). What does it tell me about _(topic). It tells me that (main idea). Now Prove It! (For the Topic Look in the first or last sentence of the paragraph.
