Study of the FLAIR™ Endovascular Stent Graft. (RENOVA Study)

Protocol No. H10-008

FLAIRTM

is the first endovascular stent that was approved by FDA

for use across a graft vein anastomosis. RENOVA trial is designed

as a post approval follow up study to gather more data on the stent

performance. Study is funded by BARD Peripherals.

ACTIVITIES: Network 13: Serve on the Medical Review Board of

Network 13. Networks serve as intermediary between

dialysis units and Center of Medicare Services (CMS).

Network 13 covers Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas, all

dialysis units and patients in these 3 states are monitored by

the network. Medical review panel serves advisory role in

guiding the network to implement and monitor CMS

policies. Board meets 4 times/yr.

Local ANNA Chapter: Deliver lectures for continuing

nursing education to the local nurse at the ANNA Meetings,

Shreveport LA. Held Several Workshops during their

meeting to update information on several common problems

faced by dialysis patients. (2006-Present)
