Description of Activity

NAPSGEARS is a business that is formed and located Naparima

College. The purpose of this business is to provide and distribute Physical Education uniforms to

students of Naparima College. The business had two financial periods, Period One which ran

from June 1st 2014 to August 31st 2014 and Period Two which ran from September 1st 2014 to

November 30th 2014.

A sum of forty dollars was collected from each student of the class so

that sample uniforms could be obtained for the purpose of showing them to new form one

students and their parents so they could have determined their jersey and pants sizes and

therefore place an order. These uniforms were supplied by S.Ramlogan and Sons’ Limited and

the uniform prints were made by, Gene Wilkes, our printer.

The business collected money from the parents of the students for the

uniforms which were to be distributed in the new school term in September. This money

collected was used to purchase the official P.E. uniforms. Each parent that placed an order and

paid on the day received a receipt which was to be brought back in the new school term in

September so that the students could have received their P.E. uniforms. Those who placed an

order but did not pay on the day were allowed to pay in the first week of school term in

September. Sales continued until the 30th of November in order to accommodate for students

who were not in Form 1.
