1. SECTION I - INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION (IFPQ)

DATE: 1ST MARCH 2020 Nairobi Baptist Church is a worshipping community of the Lord Jesus Christ that is advancing the kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit and was founded in 1958 by a group of 20 people made of Africans, Asians and Europeans who took local initiatives and covenant to form a congregation of born-again believers of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Church Assemblies are in the locations: Ngong Road, Ongata Rongai, Kikuyu, Kibera, Westlands & Kitengela. Nairobi Baptist Church intends to prequalify eligible candidates for PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR VARIOUS CATEGORIES OF GOODS, SERVICES AND/OR WORKS as listed in Section III of this prequalification document.

Interested eligible Candidates may participate in the prequalification exercise through the Nairobi Baptist Church official website www.nairobibaptist.co.ke and click on the ‘Tenders’ tab.

In order to participate in the prequalification exercise, interested firms must pay a non- refundable fee of Kshs. 1,200 per category. Available payment methods as given on the Nairobi Baptist Church E-Procurement Portal include M-Pesa, Airtel money, Visa Card, Master card amongst others. Prospective bidders may download this prequalification document for free from the website (https://nairobibaptist.mtendersafrica.com/mtenders) and apply for the prequalification on Nairobi Baptist Church E-Procurement Portal. Submission of Prequalification document This is an online prequalification exercise on the Nairobi Baptist Church E-Procurement Portal on which the bidders are to give their details and upload scanned copies of documentary evidence and certificates as required, duly certified by a commissioner for oaths/notary public where required, with the completed application to be received on or before 20th March, 2020 at 5pm (EAT) Nairobi Baptist Church reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications to the prequalification either in whole or in part without assigning reasons. On successful registration, they will receive an email from Mtenders Africa confirming that their user account on Nairobi Baptist Church’s Prequalification has been created.
