• The four transport authorities have presented a joint proposal to a national plan to develop the transport infrastructure 2010-2021, 41 billion Euro

The railroad network

• 11 904 km tracks with traffic

• ca 17 000 km incl side tracks

• Banverket administrate ca 80 % of the total tracks

• 3 805 km are double track och multitrack (30%)

• 9 683 km is electrified (80 %)
