The flight control actuation systems control units which play very important roles in

aircraft flight. Among such units are an aileron, which controls the bank angle of

aircraft; an elevator, which adjusts flight altitude; a spoiler, which has a braking

function; and a device for controlling takeoff and landing.

Nabtesco is the sole Japanese

manufacturer of these systems, which

control the flight orientation of aircraft

by moving the wings such as the ailerons

on the main wings and the elevators on

the tail wings. Nabtesco has a solid

reputation as Japan’s leading company in

market for commercial aircraft.

An electric power unit that contains

power supply devices as a single

compact unit. The equipment was first

used for the B787 which uses

significantly more electricity than

existing Boeing aircraft. It also reduces

the amount of wiring, making the aircraft

lighter and easier to maintain.

This system folds the landing gear into

the aircraft body during flight to reduce

air resistance. Nabtesco's system is

widely used on aircraft both in Japan and

overseas.
