The largest West Bank city
Located between Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim

History of Nablus
An old historic Canaanite city, founded almost 6500 years back
Its first name was Shekem
The Romans rebuilt the city and gave it a new name, Neapolis
The name was changed to Nablus at the time of Islamic rule
The city was ruled by many empires
It was occupied by Israel during the 1967 War

Located in the northern part of the West Bank
