OBSTACLES FACED

Imprisoned in Bulgaria, a communist country and without foodand water for 96 hours.

In 1990, the company didn’t progress because there was so muchof friction in business in India. There was an offer fromsomebody to acquire Infosys for US$1mn, from this offer, six of 

his group members got excited but towards the end he decidednot to sell it off.

Getting listed on NASDAQ, in fact it was a small step forNASDAQ but a giant hurdle for Infosys and Indian software

industry.
