Family Overview: I have been single since the spring of 2002, and have twochildren – Jessie Estrella of Prince George, Virginia and John Richter of Harrison,Arkansas. I also have five grandchildren. Employment Overview:  In 2013, I retired from the corrosion resistantcomposites industry, where I worked in manufacturing as a Director of TechnicalServices for 28 years. I still serve that industry today as a consultant. I am theowner and sole proprietor of two limited liability companies – SentinelConsulting, LLC of Arkansas and SENCON, LLC of Virginia. In a prior life, I farmedand was a publisher/vice-president of a Texas based newspaper corporation. Current & Previous Involvement with RLC Groups or Activities: I currently serveRLC as a member of the usher team and the emergency response team. Current & Past Leadership Roles at RLC or Previous Congregations: As alifelong Lutheran, I have been privileged to serve two other congregations. Thelist of positions held include president of church council (Board of Directors),chairman of the Board of Deacons and Call Committee member. Leadership Roles Outside of Church: I currently hold appointments to threeAmerican Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) subcommittees and anappointment to a National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBIC)subgroup. I have also served as president of a Chamber of Commerce, a RotaryClub President, and a vice-president of a rural water cooperative. Skills that may prove useful as a member of RLC's BOD: I am reasonablycomputer literate (particularly iOS) and have a working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice products, and have experience with complex spreadsheet design.

Family Overview: Married to Lauren Robertson with two boys: Harvey (2 years)and Kelly (3 months).  Life is currently very hectic in our house! Employment Overview:  Vice President at Harris Williams, a Richmond-basedinvestment bank specializing in corporate mergers and acquisitions ranging from$100 million to $3 billion. Current & Previous Involvement with RLC Groups or Activities: Previouslyserved on the Financial Policies and Procedures team which helped review,revise, develop, and implement a new financial policies and procedures reportingsystem.  Active support of Lauren’s leadership of Faithlab. Current & Past Leadership Roles at RLC or Previous Congregations: Haveserved on call committees for various roles at previous congregations. Leadership Roles Outside of Church: Serve on Diversity and InclusionCommittee at Harris Williams.  Have held several formal and informal mentorshippositions at Harris Williams, through the University of Georgia, and DukeUniversity. 

Skills that may prove useful as a member of RLC's BOD: Financial statementmodeling and budgeting coupled with significant board-level experience indecision-making processes.
