Lead all of the 2nd and 3rd shift activities within the facility with a focus on Direct and Retail fulfillment. Other activities include Inventory control, Replenishment; Put-away and Receiving. The team includes three Operations managers who are my direct reports, three 2nd level managers, fourteen supervisors, five leads and 400 hourly associates during none peak.

We service Verizon’s Retail store locations in four regions (North East, Mid West; South and West), as well as the Direct to customer shipments in the same regions.

Fulfillment Manger, XPO Logistics Memphis, Tennessee Lead the 1st shift Order Fulfillment operation for our Verizon Wireless account. The team is staffed with five

supervisors, who are my direct reports, four Order Expeditors, three Quality Auditors, approximately 150 hourly associates.

Responsible for Picking, Automated Verification, Slotting to Pick Zones, Bin Verification, Item Put Backs, Manual and Automated Manifesting. With automated order verification, shipped approximately 35,000 direct (e-commence) orders daily via Fed Express, with an accuracy rate of 99.99%.

Processed and ship 1,500 Indirect Agent (Big Box and small business) and service 1,700 retail store orders daily.

Managed Order Prep – ensuring orders are flowing down to the warehouse for printing and prepping orders; Picking , Programming, Activating, Verifying, Packing and Manifesting of all outbound shipments. Ensuring all Orders received up to 5:30 p.m. are shipped clean. Other responsibilities include: Slotting, Replenishment, Inventory accuracy and scheduling LTL pick up.

Other responsibilities include, ensuring the 200 + Verizon Store orders processed on the night are loaded and tendered to the LTL carrier timely. Systematic shipping of all orders; Capture 100 % of the ESNs for all Phones shipping outbound. Reconciliation of all orders at end of shift: to ensure 100 % on time shipping.

Lead the second shift Shipping operation. The team is staffed with three Operations managers, two Team Leaders and 115 hourly associates that all report to me.

Shipped 14, 000 to 18,000 orders daily and 6,000 to 9,000 orders are processed and shipped on second shift. We handle 16,000 to 25,000 cartons a night and have the responsibility for reconciling all the WIP screens daily.

Responsibilities include: Control Room - releasing all orders and replenishment picks; Picking with equipment (Order selector, Reach Trucks, Pallet Jacks); Picking repack- pick and pass modules; LTL shipping – schedule pick up, load and tender freight to carrier; Small Parcel shipping – loading parcel freight on the carrier trucks – Fed Ex, UPS, Airborne Express; International shipping.

Responsibilities include the daily activities of the IM Logistics customers, which include Apple, Symantec, Seagate, Smart Disk and others. These responsibilities include: communicating directly with the management teams of each customer on daily or weekly conference call or via Out Look email, communicating directly with product management, insure segregation from IM inventory, providing Daily Cycle Count results, reporting Inbound Receiving activities; address discrepancies both Shipping and Receiving; research shipping and receiving issues.

Other responsibilities include the daily operations of the Returns department. The daily operations includes processing RMA and Refusal returns, issuing credit to customers, determining the disposition of returned product, segregating Ingram owned inventory and IM Logistics customer inventory, creating and shipping debits back to vendors. Requires daily communication with customer service.

Also responsible for the daily operations of the Inbound stocking team. The daily operations includes stocking of all inbound shipment within 24 hours of receipt. The inbound receipt include 25 to 30 scheduled Full / LTL carriers (600 to 1200 pallets) daily. Small parcel shipments from UPS which consist of 800 to 1400 cartons daily and Fed Ex which consist of 300 to 600 cartons daily.

Operations Manager of the LTL Receiving, Ingram Micro, Inc, Millington, Tennessee 1998 Responsibilities included directing the daily activities of receiving and stocking of inbound freight at an

accuracy rate of 99.97% effective; scheduling delivery appointments within 24 hours of the appointment request; maintaining the inventory integrity of 20,000 plus bin locations; establishing the productivity standards for receiving, stocking, truck unloading and pallet transporting; communicating with accounts payable and sales at corporate head quarters; damage claims on inbound freight; ensuring that our department successfully maintain its ISO certification; researching problems products; establish a Quality Action Team; maintain the budget for uniform and supplies. This team is composed of 2 Team Leaders and 48 associates.

Operations Manager Pick/Pass modules Pick/Belt modules, Ingram Micro, Inc, Millington, Tennessee 1997 Responsible for planning and scheduling of associates appropriately; establishing picking productivity

standards; tracking the performance of associates; packing full case items; ensuring priority orders were picked in a timely manner; ensuring full case product is returned to stock daily; and ensuring the module locations are replenished timely.

Supervisor of the shipping operations, Ingram Micro, Inc, Millington, Tennessee 1995 Responsible for planning the daily operation of quality assurance and manifesting of picked orders, small

parcel truck loading and LTL freight shipments; prep desk operations including: releasing of sales orders; prepping and issuing orders to order pickers and tracking the production of those pickers; the maintenance and up keep of the tape machine and ordering daily supplies.

Materials Handler Supervisor, Defense Distribution Depot, Memphis 1987 to 1995 As a full range supervisor over the warehousing operations, I was responsible for planning, internal receipts,

rewarehousing, physical inventory, in-storage maintenance of stock, and selecting material for shipping. I was accountable for the quantity and quality of work done in the operation. I was responsible the efficient and economical work accomplishment by subordinates. I supervised a work force composed primarily of 20 material handlers (FLO), and an office automation clerk and a data transcriber.

As a Materials Handler (FLO), my major duties included: operating material handling equipment when selecting stock for MROs, DROs, and Bin Replenishment; stowing of new receipts and station returns; warehousing and rewarehousing. Other duties included loading and unloading trucks, roll-on conveyor lines and tugs.
