Divorce

• My parents got divorced when I was in 4th grade, but got back together for a year when I was in 6th grade.

• I hated that I couldn’t get away with anything and they fought all the time. Being at home was miserable.

The Accident• The day before 7th grade my friend dared me to

jump a semi loading ramp on my bike. I neglected to notice the metal lip at the edge and flew over the edge. I ended up with a concussion, a fractured nose, loosing 4 teeth, and gashing open the inside of my lower lip and needed stitches.

• I was out of school for the 1st week and my sister was scared to look at me.

• I hated the song “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”.

• The scar left on my face ruined my self esteem.

Shazam! This was our “band” in 8th grade. We thought it would be cool sincemost of us were in band or choirto write songs of all differentgenres. There were 6 of us andwe never wrote any songs – I just designed costumes and gaveeveryone a “cool” image. I was“The Rebel”.

Boys and Bad Poetry

• I used to write really terrible poetry about all of the boys I liked and kept it in my journals.

• My boyfriend, Lance, trashed the boys bathroom to sit in ISS with me in 7th grade. (It was so romantic!) ♥

• First kiss: Cary – who I didn’t really like kissed me at a birthday party. Then, like, he was my boyfriend.

School• My 6th grade year the Webster Stanley Warriors were

changed to the Webster Stanley Wolves.• I had two of my dad’s former teachers, Mr. Beaster

and Mr. Bauer, both of which were my coaches and called me by his old nickname: “Wara-Wolf”

• My favorite class was art class with Mrs. Spanbauer.• I played basketball, ran cross country, and threw

shot-put.• I loved playing Helena in the abridged version of

Shakespearean plays we performed my senior year.
