I pay bill on line thru QuickBooksI paid American Express thru this system,
4 days before the due date, but it arrived 1 day late at Am Ex.
Finance charge on the next month bill was $130, so I called and they agreed to split in half. I paid this immediately.

Call from corporate VP of Customer Services, who waived the fee and apologized.
Closed the account I had opened for 15 years, which was a annual fee account of $75, and opened a new account with no fee.
