• Yes, the need for traditional security,
scalability, processes, integration with
legacy tools … will still be there
• What NEW will they need?
• They will need to Embrace the Social
Networks

How do Recruiters embrace social networks?
• They will need a tool that enables the connection of the
company with the social networks
• They won’t need an INHOUSE costly database with
Millions of entries of candidates and CVs, notes, …
• The candidate database will be OUT THERE in the
social clouds
• The tool just has to have a module to add comments,
details, notes on the canidates and then integrate with

How do Recruiters embrace social networks? (2)
• Just imagine not having to keep your database
updated and at the same time permanently
connected with millions of candidates
• The tool will have to CRAWL the social networks
(Linkedin, Facebook, Xing, …) for you
• According to Linkedin’s CEO: “People with 10 or
more connections on our site are not likely to lie on
their resume”

Mind-set Roadblocks
• Several companies will fear that loosing control of
their database can be a threat, or not even legal
• That is just a mind-set. Embrace the change! IT IS
HERE, those who don’t will definetely be less
competitive
