Oct 29-Oct 31 Arrived in Guangxi University of Finance and

Economics in Nanning, Guangxi Conducted a workshop on the topic of conducting

academic research and writing a research paper for graduate students including 15 international students from Africa at the College of Accounting of the university.

Presented “The Next-generation ILS: Trends and Futures” at the Library

Met and had dinner with Alumni representatives from the Liuzhou Cohorts.

Nov 1-Nov 25 Arrived in Nanjing University of Aeronautics

and Astronautics Conducted a series of workshops on the topics

of library information technology, collection development, digital scholarship center, ALA-accredited master programs, librarians recruitment, faculty performance standards and evaluation process, and academic research and journals & publications.

Taught a course on the next-generation ILS and discovery platforms

librarians and staff at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
