WordPress PlugIns:

WordPress Plugins are extra pieces of software that you add to your WordPress website! Here is the list of Christina Hills’ Top 10 Favorite Easy Plugins for WordPress! Most of these PlugIns are provided to you free. Although there are many more plugins you may want, here is a good list to start with. Even if you are not yet using WordPress, keep this list, as it will come in handy once you start!

1 - Under Construction by Jeremy Massel

Creates a ‘Coming Soon’ page that will show for to the outside world; useful for developing a live site without the world being able to see it.

2 - Tiny MCE Advanced by Andrew Ozz

Adds additional editing functions to your visual editor for making pages and posts. Gives you more control of how your formatting, font size, font style, colors, etc.

3 - Duplicate Post by Enrico Battocchi

Allows you to duplicate the content of a page or post without having to copy and paste it. It duplicates all the

settings as well. Very Fast and easy to use.

4 - Subscribe To Comments by Mark Jacquith

Subscribe to Comments allows commenters on an entry to subscribe to e-mail notifications for subsequent

comments. This is the PlugIn that Christina uses in her private membership area “classroom”. Note: Even

though the PlugIn hasn’t been updated for a while, it still works just fine.

5 – FV WordPress FlowPlayer

Add video that is NOT a YouTube video to your Wordpress site. Works on mobile devices and can be used in posts or pages. Is good for free videos, and for private membership site videos you create.

6 – Shareaholic Social Media Buttons - by Shareaholic

Let’s you add social media “Sharing” buttons to your WordPress website so people can share your content with others and so you can share YOUR OWN content across various social media sites.

7 – Social Media Icons Widget by Arstropica

This add “Follow” me type of buttons on your sidebar widget so that people visiting your site can follow you on your social media pages. This is different from the plugin #6 above.

8 - Wishlist Member Premium PlugIn by Wishlist Products

9 – WordPress SEO by Yoast

Automatically optimizes your WordPress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization). Easy to install and easy to use. And it helps you improve your copywriting as you write your SEO titles and tags.

10 - Quick Page/Post Redirect by Don Fisher

Redirect Pages/Posts to another page/post or external URL. It adds a little edit box to your post or the page so you can specify the redirect Location URL. Great for redirecting your audience to different pages, without deleting the original content.
