My Students Can Not See All Assignments

Follow these steps if some students have problems seeing items that other students can see in Blackboard 9.1. Always remember to view the course first as the teacher views it, but also as a student would view it.

Open the course in question

1. Open the course in question.2. Quick enroll yourself in the class.

Check the problem specified

1. As System Administrator/Instructor, left click on the problem unit to display all the lessons

2. Verify that all lessons are visible to the System Administrator/Instructor.

View Course as Student

1. Switch edit mode to off position.2. Verify that all lessons that are supposed to

be visible are visible.

Switch back to System Administrator/Instructor

1. Left click the action button on the lesson not visible to student

2. Left click Adaptive Release

Verify Adaptive Release Parameters

1. Check the display after date2. Check to see if you have created groups

and are using the groups as the adaptive release parameter

Verify Groups

1. Left click to open Grade Center2. Left click Groups to view groups

Verify Group Membership

1. Verify group membership by checking to see if the students are listed. If the student is not listed in any of the groups, add the student to the appropriate group, and the student should be able to access the content.
