My Spring Basket: What I am THANKFUL for. Why Spring makes me Happy!

1. Open Microsoft Word and choose Save As. Name your document: Thankful

2. Enter the proper FOOTER. Your name TAB 2x Mrs. Lee, 1A 5 pts. _______

3. You may change the Page Layout so that the ORIENTATION is either Portrait or Landscape, whichever you prefer.

4. Add WordArt with the text Why Spring Makes Me Happy! 5 pts. _______

5. INSERT A PICTURE of a Spring Basket or other Spring picture that appeals to you. Hint (change the text wrapping format to Square). 5 pts. _______

6. Add an appropriate page border. 5 pts. _______

7. Add a Picture Frame to your picture: Format/Picture Styles. 5 pts. _______

8. Using WordArt Tools/Styles from the Format toolbar: Type at least fifteen things that you are thankful for around your picture. CHANGE: FONTS, SIZE, ATTRIBUTES. Change text color, outline, etc., as you wish. 10 pts. _______

9. At least 12 of the 15 words must have a transition applied. 5 pts. _______

10. Make certain that you keep to one page. ROTATE each word as you like.

11. As you change some attributes to personalize, please keep READABILITY in mind. 10 pts. _______

12. Proofread, spell check, print to the color printer. 10 pts. _______
