My Soccer Tournament

It was the day before the tournament and I was out practicing at my friend Jimmy’s house. We’re the Red Dragons.

We practiced for hours and hours, then it was close to supper, so I went home.

It was 8:40am. I was ready for my tournament with 2 hours to spare.

It was 10:40 when our first game started. We played until 10:55. We won 3-2 all because Timmy and Jimmy went up, Timmy kicked it behind the goalie and Jimmy hit the ball off of his head and the ball went in.

Our second game at 11:00 was way easier. We won 9-1. My friend Tommy, our goalie, kicked the ball so hard that it went to the other side of the field and between the goalies legs and in. The game ended at 11:15.

Our next game at 11:20 was a little trickier. The other team were really good and had an awesome goalie, we only won 2-1.

Our very last game was hard. At the end of the game, the score was still 0-0.

We had a shootout. Everyone kicked except for me. So I went to kick and… the ball went past the goalie! We won 1-0!

Next was when they handed out the medals. We won gold by a long shot! That was the happiest day of my life!
