In my single image, I tried to portray the first adventure of a kitten. The first time really able to explore outside, just learning to walk and learning independence. I like how you can see other kittens in the background, following the first kitten’s lead. You can also see the mom, keeping a close eye on her little ones.

The story behind my photo essay is the life of a concert-goer. In my photos, I tried to capture what it’s like to be at a punk/rock concert. The people, the waiting, the lights, getting to meet a band. I tried to get the emotion as well. There’s so much excitement and it’s such a rush being in the middle of a packed crowd. I hope I portrayed that a bit.
