    To RJ--

    For being my rock,

    And keeping me strong.

    It is snowing.

A young woman has just stepped out of

the doors to the airport. She stops just outsidethe door and for a moment just stares aroundher. Mounds of white and gray snow line thestreet in front of her heavily !ontrasting the!olorful ta"i !abs. She raises her hand#!overedwith a bla!$ glove#and stares at the fla$esstu!$ there before they melt. She is jolted out ofher wonder suddenly as a man with a brief!aseand a heavy %oston a!!ent bumps into her.

&'hat(s )a matta( wit( you* Ain(t younever seen snow before*+, he pushed his waypast her and she responded too late. -er wordshit his rapidly disappearing ba!$.

After about 34 minutes of people staringat her and her obsession with snow the busfinally pulled up. 2he thin girl was shivering sobadly that it was hard for her to hoist her bagson to the bus and she dropped one of the !oins

she needed to pay for the bus ride through hernumb fingers.

2he bus ride was something new to hertoo. 2he roads were so bumpy and the bus hadno seat belts. She had never been so glad toarrive anywhere.

'ith more effort the girl managed to!arry her three bags into the building and into

the door mar$ed )offi!e(. It wasn(t li$e anyoffi!e she(d ever been in before. 2here were nobad paintings lining the walls no maga/inespiled on tables. 5rames hung around the roomheld pi!tures of people who all loo$ed ali$e.2he girl too$ off her hat and let her hair falldown her ba!$. -er blond !urls fell to themiddle of her ba!$.
