My Kindergarten Social Story

In September, I will go to my new school.

Here is the school office where Mrs. Klassen works.

Here is the door to my Kindergarten.

This is Ms Green. She will be my teacher in Kindergarten.

This is Tyrone the Rabbit.

Here is where I will put my jacket and my knapsack when I get to school.

This is where I will go to the bathroom and wash my hands in Kindergarten.

Each day I will have fun while I play and learn.

I will usually start my day at the Meeting Place.

During Choice Time, there are so many things to do.

I can build with blocks.

I can play at the Light Table.

I can paint.

I can play with Dinosaurs.

I can pretend.

I can read books.

I can play in the sand.

I will have a snack while I am at Kindergarten.

I will make many new friends at Kindergarten.

We will learn to play together. We will share toys and materials.

Some days, I will go to Music, to Gym, or to the Library.

Here is where I will have my Music Class.

Mrs. Isfeld will be my Music Teacher.

Here is the Gym where I will run and play.

This is Ms Janssen. She is my Gym Teacher.

This is the library at my school.

Ms Valgardson will read me stories and help me take out books I can read at home.

This is the Resource Room where I will play and learn with Ms Bela.

This is Ms Bela. She is a Resource Teacher. She will be my teacher too!

This is the playground. I can play outside at recess.

I will have so much fun each day at Kindergarten.

When I am done at school, I will go back to my child care centre. My mom or dad will pick me up there later.
